ESA – ESRIN
ESA (European Space Agency) is Europe’s equivalent to US NASA. The purpose of the institution is the universe itself, the study of it and the research on space travel. Among ESA’s most important centers, we mention ESRIN (European Space Research Institute), also known as ESA Earth Observation Center.

 


INFN
The INFN (National Institute of Nuclear Physics) is one of the most important institutions in the area and it ideally continues the studies and scientific tradition begun in the 1930s by Enrico Fermi and his school. The DAΦNE particle accelerator is contained within the Frascati or National Laboratories (LNF) , which, was the only one of its kind in Europe, until the Geneva LHC was started up.

INAF and the OBSERVATORY OF MONTEPORZIO CATONE
The INAF or National Institute of Astrophysics is the most important Italian research organization for astronomy, and astrophysics. He deals with researches that cover a very wide range of cosmology and the study of the universe, taking care of both the aspect of observation and that of theorization.

 


TUSCOLANA ASTRONOMY ASSOCIATION “Livio Gratton”
It is an association of social promotion and headquarters  of the Italian Amateur Astronomers Union for the Roman Castles and the Province of Southern Rome. It mainly deals with astrophilia and the dissemination and promotion of scientific culture. We report here the Mission of the association, according to the words of the members themselves: “We are passionate and we are surprised by the beauty of the starry sky and the incredible story of its discovery thanks to science, which is the heritage of everyone us. We believe that astronomy, with its load of millenary history and universal charm, is the ideal tool to convey the culture and passion for science, still too little widespread in our country, to be enhanced and enhanced, in schools and among people. VILLA MONDRAGONE (UNIVERSITY OF TOR VERGATA)
One of the twelve Tuscolan villas built by the popes in the 16th century in the territory of Frascati, is now the site of conferences, congresses and exhibitions organized by the University of Tor Vergata.

 


ACCADEMIA VIVARIUM NOVUM (VILLA FALCONIERI)
From 2010 to 2015, it was the historical headquarter of INVALSI and today it is the office of Vivarium Novum Academy, which has the task of teaching and promulgating the study of classical languages. The institute is known throughout the world and is famous for learning classical languages ​​based on the idea that they are living languages, to the point that Latin is commonly used within the institute.


BANK OF ITALY
The “Donato Menichella” Center, located in Vermicino, is a very important center of the Bank of Italy, which has over 60 employees engaged in its daily operations, and it is specialized in the treatment of cash but it operates only with other banks and Italian Post Offices.
